Do I need an Amazon account to log into the Wondrwall app?
Yes, you need to log in using your Amazon account. If you do not have an Amazon account, it’s free to sign up at Amazon.co.uk.
How do you control the system when the Wi-Fi is down?
You can still manually control the lights as normal using the touch sensors on the face. The heating can be turned on or off manually using the buttons on the relays, you will see a red glow if the device is on.
Do I still need an energy supplier?
Yes, Wondrwall are not an energy retailer and only provide energy management services that help to significantly reduce your energy bills. Your Wondrwall system will work with all energy providers but we recommend users choose to use a provider that offers wholesale price tracking tariffs to get the best results from their Wondrwall system.
What’s covered in my Energy Service Contract?
Your Energy Service Contract covers all costs relating to hardware and installation of your home’s solar PV, Battery and EV charger. Your service charge also covers all energy management related costs, maintenance and support for the duration of the contract. After 10 years you will also receive a free battery upgrade to ensure the continued optimum performance and energy saving potential of your Wondrwall system.
WIll ESC affect my ability to mortgage my home?
No, ESC uses a tried and tested legal framework that is widely accepted by mortgage lenders.
Does everyone pay the same ESC service charge?
No, your ESC service charge will be specific to your home and based on independant banding criteria linked to the energy saving potential of each home. For example, a small 2-bedroom home with only limited capacity for solar PV will not be able to generate as much free energy as a larger 5-bedroom home and therefore their ESC service charge will be less.
